We'd like to start off by wishing everyone a Happy New Year.
My name is Charlotte and I manage the Marketing and PR side of business at Shredall and SDS.
Below is a quick run down about both departments and what we do...
Shredall

Scheduled services and ad hoc collections are available to you and in keeping with Shredall’s commitment to the environment, all your shredded paper is transported to UK mills for recycling. Our customers span a wide variety of private and public sector organisations and our credentials and accreditations highlight our commitment to quality and reliability.
If you require secure electronic media disposal services (discs, CCTV tapes, microfiche and other electronic media), this can also be easily arranged.
Shredall operates from depots in Nottingham, London and Glasgow. This means we can offer national coverage.
Shredall Document Storage
SDS are the Document Storage People, offering safe and secure document storage for business, legal and financial services records in our state of the art archive facilities across the UK.
We also index and bar-code tracking for secure documents - If you do not have time to index your documents yourself, we offer a document indexing service. Our friendly, fully vetted staff will provide a full inventory of your documents.
We supply a bar-code, which is scanned and linked to the contents of each box. Our bar-codes allow us to track your documents point-to-point throughout all stages of the transportation, delivery and retrieval process, providing you with a fully auditable trail and ensuring compliance.
Store documents securely offsite in our archive facilities. All our sites have intruder and fire alarms linked via Red Care to police and fire stations, and CCTV operates 24 hours a day. All visitors are accompanied onsite and all contractors are subject to the SDS contractor management system. We can therefore say that our document storage facilities are as secure as possible against theft and burglary.
Document retrieval & refileOrder files and boxes back by email or via our online ordering system. We collect and deliver documents across the UK to suit your schedule, either same day, next day or within a scheduled service. When you have finished working with a file or box, we will collect and return it to its original location.
UK-wide document collection & delivery
Our customised fleet of vehicles will securely transport documents to and from your offices, right across the UK. All our drivers have been security vetted to BS7858:2004 and are CRB checked. Drivers are trained to transport your records with care and courtesy at all times.

Lloyd’s children Lucy and Nik were invited to join the Board of Directors a few years ago as Lloyd has always envisaged Shredall becoming a family run business. Lloyd felt they had earned it as young professionals in their own right through their valuable input and hard work for the company over the recent years. Lucy is now the Director of SDS (Shredall Data Storage), overseeing the smooth running of the data file storage and data scanning arm of the business, whilst Nik has become the Group Sales Director responsible for the companies sales in London, Nottingham and Glasgow. Both Lucy and Nik have grasped what are extremely demanding roles with open arms and risen to the challenges set by their father.
Lloyd comments “I never envisaged my children would even work for me let alone become my co-directors. However, it makes me extremely proud that they have become such valuable assets in such a short time. Between the three of us we hope to grow the company on a significant scale. There is an amazing buzz of running a family business and we are all excited about what the future holds for Shredall."
